
Polly Dulley
Polly Dulley graduated from City University in 1986. After graduation she divided her time between hospital work and post-graduate research at City University. Polly worked at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital for several years, where she gained valuable experience in glaucoma, cataract assessment and low vision. She has specialist diplomas in Ocular Therapeutics and Glaucoma.
In 2004, Polly was awarded an MPhil from City University for her research into the ocular effects of Tamoxifen, a drug widely used in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer.
Polly has also worked for the College of Optometrists since 1997, both as an examiner and an advisor in paediatric optometry. Polly has also acted as advisor in children’s eyecare to the Association of Optometrists and has taught padiatric optometry at City University, where she continues to offer her services as a visiting clinician. In 2013, Polly was awarded the prestigious title of UK Optometrist of the Year.
